There’s no better season to ride an e-bike in La Crosse than fall. The Driftless Region comes alive with color, the air is crisp, and the trails and roads are quieter once summer traffic fades. Whether you’re on a sleek commuter, a folding Blaupunkt, or a powerful Addmotor trike, autumn in Western Wisconsin is the perfect time to explore.
Here are some of our favorite e-bike rides in the Driftless for this season.

Grandad Bluff Climb
A local classic. The road up Bliss offers a steady climb and ends with sweeping views of La Crosse Valley painted in fall colors. An e-bike takes the sting out of the uphill while still giving you that end-of-ride satisfaction.
La Crosse River State Trail
Flat, tree-lined, and stretching out for miles—this trail is ideal for testing your e-bike’s range. Most models we carry, from Aventon to Velotric, easily cover 20–60 miles per charge, giving you the freedom to ride farther.
Great River Road
This national scenic byway follows the Mississippi and delivers some of the most stunning fall scenery in the Midwest. Smooth pavement, bluffside views, and plenty of small-town stops along the way make it a perfect weekend route.
Perrot State Park Loop
Just north of La Crosse, Perrot offers a mix of climbs, rolling paths, and breathtaking overlooks. With pedal assist, you can enjoy the views without burning out on the hills.
Why Go Electric in the Driftless?
The Driftless is known for steep climbs and long valleys. On an e-bike, you can:
Conquer hills with ease.
Extend your mileage for weekend loops.
Carry more—cargo baskets on Addmotor trikes are perfect for gear and snacks.
Every e-bike we sell is assembled, serviced, and supported locally. We also repair most other brands, so you can ride with confidence all season.
